Inna Ancient Clay Pot

This one is genuinely old, hand-formed by a Ukrainian potter sometime in the 1920s, back when a jug like this was daily kitchenware rather than decor. It was used for oven cooking, which is why the base has darkened to black, a mark of real use rather than a printed pattern.

At 7" wide and 9" tall, its narrow neck and rounded shoulder are shaped entirely by hand, so the walls aren't perfectly even and the surface carries a century of small marks. We're selling the single piece pictured, not a reproduction, so please look closely at the photos, this is a vintage find and isn't returnable.
